Upcoming Pilots & Programs – Join Our Pilot and Shape the Future of Farming!

We are currently preparing to launch the pilot phase of our digital innovation, a farmer-centered platform designed to bridge the gap between farmers and timely, practical agricultural support. This pilot is not being built in isolation. It is the result of direct engagement with farmers in Mbale and Malaba, where we conducted need validation and customer discovery to understand the real challenges farmers face in their day-to-day decision-making.

Farmer-First Initiative (FFI) - Malaba

In Malaba, farmers face a unique combination of challenges like post-harvest losses, limited market access, climate variability, and a lack of consistent agricultural support. The Farmer-First Initiative (FFI) in Malaba extends our community-driven approach to address these realities, with a strong focus on building resilience and unlocking new opportunities for farmers.

Farmer-First Initiative (FFI) - Mbale

In Mbale, agriculture is not just an economic activity; it is a way of life. Yet many farmers face persistent challenges, from declining soil fertility to unpredictable weather patterns and limited access to practical support. The Farmer-First Initiative (FFI) in Mbale was created in response to this reality.

Updates:

Boresha Mavuno Agritech Launches its Flagship Program - The Farmer-First Initiative in Malaba and Mbale.

Launched in February 2025, the Farmers First Initiative is a farmer-led, participatory program currently active in Mbale and Malaba districts of Eastern Uganda. It places farmers at the center of agricultural transformation. The Farmers First Initiative is more than a program it’s a grassroots movement of empowerment, transforming farmers into climate leaders and agents of change.

Boresha Mavuno Agritech Farmer Training Programs

At the heart of agricultural transformation is knowledge but not just any knowledge. Farmers need practical, relevant, and immediately applicable skills that can improve their day-to-day farming decisions. That is exactly what our Farmer Training Programs are designed to deliver. Unlike traditional training models that rely heavily on theory, our approach is grounded in real farm conditions. We focus on hands-on, experiential learning that allows farmers to see, practice, and apply what they learn in their own fields.
