Boresha Mavuno Agritech is a Uganda-based green agritech company working to transform Africa’s agrifood systems by rebuilding agricultural extension through climate-smart, regenerative, and farmer-driven solutions. We exist to address one of the most critical challenges facing smallholder farmers today: limited access to timely, locally relevant, and climate-informed agricultural support. Across Uganda and much of Africa, extension systems are overstretched, advice is often generic, and farmers are left to navigate climate risks, soil degradation, and market uncertainty on their own. We believe farmers deserve better systems that listen, adapt, and grow with them.
Our work is grounded in a farmer-first philosophy. We do not design solutions in isolation. Instead, we work side by side with farming communities to understand real farm conditions, constraints, and aspirations before developing tools, training, or technologies. Through continuous engagement, co-creation, and feedback, farmers are active partners and leaders in shaping the innovations we deploy.
